Responsible for the day-to-day management of in-house maintenance personnel and repair service contracts. Assist the Manager, Plant Maintenance in the planning, organizing, and managing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and related control systems pertaining to heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and plumbing.


  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and four (4) years related experience in a large scale operations & maintenance organization, to include supervisory responsibilities; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Airport experience desirable.
  • Knowledge of Central Plant, electrical direct digital and pneumatic controls, plumbing and HVAC operations.
  • Computer skills – proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical data and drawings
  • Effective supervisory/management skills
  • Skilled in dealing with contractor accountability, dispute resolution, and related follow-up/follow-through
  • Effective organizational skills; attention to detail; analytical skills
  • Must be able to work various shifts including early mornings, late evenings, nights, weekends and holidays to accommodate airport operations
