TITLE: Sr. Maintenance Technician
DEPARTMENT: Stadium Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance
FLSA: Full-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt
WHAT SETS YOU APART
Orlando City SC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join the Facility Operations team. The selected applicant will be required to inspect different equipment and perform basic repairs and / or preventative maintenance when required. This role supports all Orlando City SC facilities to include Inter & Co Stadium and both Orlando Health Training Grounds at Osceola Heritage Park and Sylvan Lake Park.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Handle basic repairs and maintenance
- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
- Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them
- Repair machines, equipment or structures as necessary
- Support projects and maintenance at the training facilities when needed
- Work varying shifts to accommodate game / event coverage
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven maintenance experience – 2 references required
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Related technical college degree is not required but preferred
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts
- Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches and other hand / power tools
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually
- Strong time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in MS Access and SharePoint a plus
- Electrical or HVAC preferred Forklift & Scissors lift certification preferred
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
