EA SPORTS College Football is looking for an Experience Designer - Visual/Art who is
passionate about solving complex design problems, creating compelling program visuals
and building experiences that surprise and delight our players. The ideal candidate is
immersed in the world of graphic/visual design, is a detail-oriented team player and can
thrive in a highly collaborative, high pressure and iterative live services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Designing industry leading visuals, graphic design elements and systems for College
Football Ultimate Team.
- Creating innovative, emotive art within strict technical limitations and tight deadlines.
- Conceptualizing and effectively visually communicating ideas to get buy-in from
stakeholders.
- Collaborating within a diverse team to create a variety of visual themes for programs that
reflect our game.
- Prioritizing task and managing time to meet our demanding content scheduling
requirements.
- Working with a cross-disciplinary team to set priorities and developing design solutions to
meet business goals.
- Supporting other Experience Designers within the team to help improve overall visual
craft.
- Helping solidify the College Football Ultimate team as well as it's processes and systems.
- Providing guidance on HLEs for features as well as program scoping decisions and task
assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in design, marketing, or related studies.
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design or visual design.
- Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software a must.
- Experience with Figma, Miro and other collaborative tools is a plus.
- Understands composition, grid, color theory, typography, iconography, logo and layout
design.
- Comfortable presenting cohesive design approaches and iterating based on feedback.
- Has a knack for creative problem solving.
- Takes initiative and ownership; doesn't wait to be asked.
- An Interest in 3d & motion graphics is ideal.
- Knowledge of American Football & sports games is beneficial.
- Experience designing for video games and/or live services with microtransactions is a
bonus, not a requirement.
It is required you share a portfolio or recent work samples, inclusive of unique and original
