Within the spirit of “Making People's Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties personally. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.

• Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.

• Establish, modify, document, and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.

• Monthly reconciliation of various bank accounts.

• Daily preparation of cash sheets and bank deposits.

• Monthly review and audit of various accounts receivable, notes payable, and liability accounts and other balance sheet accounts.

• Daily audit and review of inventory process, transactions, and inventory reports.

• Monthly COS for inventory system.

• Conduct monthly review of escrow accounts.

• Daily processing and supervising of escrow process.

• Weekly and monthly review and reconciliation of Escrow and Pool Buying A/R.

• Prepare monthly financial statements for The Villages Insurance.

• Prepare monthly financial statements for small companies.

• Prepare monthly financial statements for La Reina del Mar, LDC.

• Attend monthly accounting staff meetings.

• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent from two (2) year college or technical school; or two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
