Orlando Weekly has an immediate opening for an ass-kicking, muckraking staff writer. Ideal candidates are fluent in both public records searches and narrative nonfiction, at home with both 3,000-word investigative features and pithy blurbs, know how to cultivate a wide array of sources, and have familiarity with new-media best practices. Most important, they will possess an insatiable desire to investigate important stories, to tell them well and to do it unapologetically.
