Position Overview
- Title: Diagnostic Radiologist
- Practice: Hospital-based private practice
- Location: Miami, Florida (South Florida, coastal metro area)
- Hospital: Level II facility
- Track: 2-year partnership track, no buy-in required
- Work volume: 70-80 work RVUs per day (weekends slightly higher)
- Modalities: MRI required; PET/CT experience a plus
- Scope: General diagnostic radiology; no mammography and no minor procedures required
- Interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies with a focus on MRI (body and neuro as applicable).
- Read CT, radiographs, and other standard diagnostic imaging exams as needed.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and hospital staff to support high-quality patient care.
- Participate in equitable weekend call rotation (1:6, onsite) with no weekday call responsibilities.
- MD/DO with completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license.
- Strong MRI skills; PET/CT experience preferred but not required.
- Comfort with a busy, hospital-based general diagnostic radiology practice.
- Very competitive starting base salary
- Approximate partner income: ~$950,000 annually
- 2-year partnership track, no buy-in
