Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or other related field/equivalent work experience;
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in programming/systems analysis;
• A minimum of six (6) months experience with Snowflake cloud-based data warehouse, Snowflake Snow Structured Query Language (SQL) and writing user defined functions; (4) Working experience in one or more modern Object-Oriented Programming languages (C#, Scala, Python)
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in workflow processes for analyzing and blending data, and performing advanced analytics and serve as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor for others
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in data engineering and Change data capture (CDC) tools such as Oracle Golden gate, Striim or Kafka etc., deployed on-premises or Cloud platform (Azure or AWS)
• Ability to build comprehensive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop
• Ability to perform administrative and support activities across a multi-environment Tableau infrastructure including security administration, release management, troubleshooting and general systems maintenance
• Hands on experience in cloud-based architecture, Azure or AWS
• Ability to write SQL queries against Snowflake. Ability to develop scripts (Unix, Python etc.) to do Extract, Load and Transform data. Ability to provide production support for Data Warehouse issues such as data load problems, transformation/translation problems etc.
• Ability to translate requirements for BI and Reporting to Database design and reporting design and understand data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done
• Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based and on-premise technologies Actively test and clearly document implementations, so others can easily understand the requirements, implementation, and test conditions
• Experience with Snowflake or Data warehouse implementation
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience developing Extransfer Transfer Load (ETL), Extract Load Transfer (ELT) and Data Warehousing using Alteryx and Tableau
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in data modeling and should have 3-5 years of experience developing SQL scripts and stored procedures that processes data from databases
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in loading source system data extracts into data warehouse
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with batch job scheduling and identifying data/job dependencies. Strong understanding of various data formats such as Comma- Separate Value (CSV), Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), etc.
• This position will work closely with the Scrum masters (a project facilitator that works with the agile development team to manage the exchange of information between team members, Architects, QA, Dev/Ops, as well as multiple cross functional teams
• Ability to understand end to end data integration requirements and response time SLAs to build data driven solutions that provide best in class customer experience Strong understanding of incident management and change management process to support day to day production issues. Experience working directly with technical and business teams
• Ability to co-ordinate root cause analysis efforts for permanent resolution on all incidents
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and collaborate with cross functional teams on issue resolution. Work with the Development team to understand the new functionality being deployed and ensure all support readiness requirements are met;
• Ability to adjust both written and oral communications to a variety of different audiences and to work independently to complete assigned tasks; and
• Generative AI and GitHub Copilot Proficiency To ensure the secure and efficient use of modern development tools, the Contractor is expected to adopt and effectively utilize generative AI assistants, specifically Microsoft Copilot Chat Enterprise leveraging Anthropic Claude models, while maintaining strict adherence to enterprise governance and accountability standards.
