Position Overview:
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is responsible for overseeing and providing direct support to individuals undergoing treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. The BHT serves as a key member of the treatment team, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive care and maintaining the safety and well-being of individuals in the program. This position involves leading a team of Behavioral Health Technicians, facilitating treatment activities, and monitoring client progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients with behavioral or emotional issues.
- Ensure clients follow house rules and complete intake and discharge procedures.
- Perform drug testing and document results in KIPU.
- Conduct Q15 safety checks on clients.
- Maintain cleanliness of facility property.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Flexible schedule
- Knowledge of the 12-step program and addiction disease model
- Preferred: Experience with KIPU EMR
