Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property spanning 1,100 acres with multiple operational components. The resort integrates resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment demands sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue and maximize event business (and corresponding occupancies) for the resort.
  • Manage and grow the hotel's social & corporate events sales pipeline by generating leads, cultivating relationships with planners, vendors and customers.
  • Collaborate with the catering and events team to ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct site tours with potential clients, showcasing the Resort's venues, amenities, and services.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring all details are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Attend industry trade shows, expos, and other events to network and promote the resorts' sales program.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, reporting on sales metrics and KPIs to senior management.
  • Manage and maintain accurate client and sales data in Delphi.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Work with resort marketing to execute social media content for events in real-time; advise on strategic marketing budget/plans on an ongoing basis as requested.

Education, Skills and Experience

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in /social catering, preferably in hotel or resort settings
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask/prioritize
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Event Software
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holiday an evenings as needed
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be detail oriented, creative and customer focused

Physical Requirements

  • Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Repetitive hand motions, such as typing
  • Able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and / or reach periodically
