Role Overview
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will support high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic laboratory testing and quality control procedures while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established laboratory standards. This role supports moderate to high-complexity testing and plays a key role in daily laboratory operations.

Role Overview
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will support high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic laboratory testing and quality control procedures while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established laboratory standards. This role supports moderate to high-complexity testing and plays a key role in daily laboratory operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
- Preparing reagents and reporting test results in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Reviewing and overseeing moderate to high-complexity testing
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and supply inventory
- Monitoring computer applications related to laboratory operations
- Ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance in all testing activities
- Performing other duties as assigned in support of laboratory operations
Qualifications
Education
Required:
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience
Required:
- Clinical laboratory experience
Preferred:
- Minimum of four (4) months of clinical laboratory experience
Licensure / Certification
Required:
- Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Technologist
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
