About us

CruiseOnline.com USA Inc. is the American arm of CruiseOnline Group BV, a cruise specialist headquartered in Rotterdam that has been the market leader for online cruise sales in the Netherlands and Belgium for over twelve years. Our group employs more than 60 people and has been recognized as a Great Place to Work in Europe.

In the United States, we are going live in the coming months. We are a fully licensed Florida Seller of Travel (ST46206), a CLIA member, and partner of all major cruise lines.

About the role

We are hiring our first US employees. You will work directly with our CEO and founder to launch CruiseOnline in the American market. The role has two phases:

Onboarding: You train and get fully up to speed before our launch. Learning the booking platform, our products, and helping localize the experience for American travelers.

From launch (October/November 2026 onward): The role becomes consumer-facing. You are the voice on the phone for travelers calling our inbound line to plan and book their cruise; helping guests find the right ship, itinerary, and cabin, using the same platform and supplier connections our 60+ European agents use every day. Our Dutch backoffice and Service team is there to support you along the way.

This job is based from home at the start and together we will start to build the culture of the company.

Who we are looking for

  • You know the US cruise industry: sold cruises, worked at a cruise line, or at a travel agency where cruise was a meaningful part of the mix.
  • You enjoy being on the phone; most of your time after launch is talking with travelers.
  • You never make spelling misakes writing emails. ;-)
  • You want stability, not commission chases. This is an hourly role with no commission targets; you will never be pressured to upsell.
  • Comfortable with everyday tools (CRM, CMS, email, office software).
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation and benefits

Full-time, non-commissioned, based from home with meetings at our Winter Park office.

  • Pay: between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Health, dental, and vision: $450 per month (tax-free) through an Individual Coverage HRA; choose the marketplace plan that fits you.
  • Retirement: SIMPLE IRA with employer match (up to 3%) after a qualifying period.
  • Paid time off: 10 days of PTO per year (vacation and sick combined), plus 5 paid US federal holidays.
  • Cruise familiarization trips: You will sail! As the face of CruiseOnline in the US, you will be hosted on board by cruise lines. Part of the job, not only a perk. :-)
  • Travel discounts: Meaningful discounts on personal cruise and travel bookings through our supplier network.
  • Be part of the startup that will change the way Americans book their cruise holidays.

(with a 12 years+ track record of our success formula in Europe!)

and we believe: if the company grows; you grow!

The practical stuff

  • Location: You work from home at the start, but live near Winter Park / Orlando area, particularly during the build phase. Hybrid options revisited as the team grows.
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday during onboarding. After launch, a rotation with some evenings and weekends . We are transparent about the schedule before any offer.
  • Reporting line: Directly to the CEO during the build phase.
  • Start date: September 2026.
