HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
- Perform CT simulations for patients that will be starting radiation therapy.
- Follow a physician's order to complete the simulation as directed.
- Fabricate immobilization devices for patients that will be used during treatments.
- Assist physicians/staff during CT procedures.
- Ensure proper patient care during Simulation procedures.
- Coordinate with treatment machines/infusion to schedule patients to begin radiation treatments.
Patient Care/Procedures:
- Effectively communicate to patient and family on the procedure and what to expect.
- Act as a liaison between physicians, physics, dosimetry, therapists, and nursing staff regarding CT simulations.
- Arrange transportation as needed for CT simulations for inpatients

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
Minimum: Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology Technology
Required Experience:
- Minimum: No previous experience required
- Preferred: 1+ Years of experience in a comparable position
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Certified Radiologic Technologist in the State of Florida & ARRT
