Position Summary:
The Summer Day Camp Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children participating in the summer day camp program. This role includes supervising campers, leading activities, maintaining discipline, and helping create a positive experience that supports each child's growth, learning, and enjoyment throughout the summer.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
  2. Plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate activities including games, crafts, sports, Bible lessons, educational activities, and group events.
  3. Maintain a structured, positive, and energetic camp environment.
  4. Manage camper behavior with consistency, fairness, and appropriate discipline.
  5. Assist with daily check-in and check-out procedures.
  6. Communicate effectively with camp leadership regarding camper needs, incidents, concerns, or behavioral issues.
  7. Help prepare activity spaces and maintain cleanliness and organization of camp areas.
  8. Participate in special events, field trips, water days, or other camp activities as assigned.
  9. Serve as a positive role model in attitude, appearance, conduct, and interaction with children and families.
  10. Follow all camp policies, safety procedures, and child protection guidelines.


Schedule:
Seasonal summer position. Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with occasional special events as needed.
