
Digital Marketing Analyst - Media Activation
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Digital Marketing Analyst - Media Activation plays a key role on the in-house digital media team working to support the execution and analysis of digital campaigns that drive profitable, incremental ROI. This role serves as a primary contact for the Associate Manager of Media Activation to assist with the activation and analysis of Paid Digital Media campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Online Video, among others, ensuring best practice activation, execution, and optimizations. This role focuses on activating digital media across various brands and channels to leverage our scale, data, and insights for optimal media efficiency within the restaurant category.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Builds campaigns for Darden paid digital media (e.g., Paid Social and Paid Search, etc.), as a critical component of Darden Digital Marketing, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize their presence.
-Supports the development of key channel performance insights for ongoing reports leveraging media dashboards.
-Uses internal tracking tools to monitor impact of work and channel performance, supporting recommendations for budget pacing and key optimizations to drive improved media performance, with guidance from senior team members or leveraging established best practices.
-Assists leadership in the development and evolution of channel activation to provide consistent progression across digital media channels.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Individuals should possess 2-3 years' relevant experience, particularly working in Paid Digital Media (e.g., Paid Search & Paid Social) executing and analyzing tactical campaigns.
-Familiarity building campaigns in the following Ad Manager Platforms: Google, Meta, or other relevant Ad Manager Platforms.
-Experience evaluating, measuring and optimizing Paid Digital Media.
-Expertise in Microsoft Excel with a strong analytical mindset and appetite for data analysis.
-Detail-oriented and well organized, with the ability to work collaboratively in internal project management tools and shared drives.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a relevant field required, or equivalent experience.
OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-Detailed knowledge of Paid Digital Media tools and experience managing multiple paid media campaigns.
-Strong analytical skills, including the ability to assess data and draw key insights.
-Previous experience working on cross-functional teams.
-Proven track record of results orientation.
-Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
-Ability to collaborate with a variety of different business partners.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Foundational knowledge of digital marketing preferred: Paid social and paid search
-Experience in restaurant / retail industry is a plus.
