The Opportunity:
The University of Central Florida's (UCF) Department of Psychology, in the College of Sciences, seeks applicants to direct its in-house Psychology Clinic. The clinic provides assessment and psychotherapy to adults from the Central Florida community, using a low-cost sliding-scale fee system. Students currently enrolled in the UCF Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program provide direct clinical services, under the close supervision of licensed Psychologists.
This is a full-time, 12-month staff position reporting to the Program Director, who is a faculty member within the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program, and who reports to the department chair. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Supervising graduate students in clinical practicum.
Supervising clinic staff and directing overall clinic operations.
Overseeing use of clinical records software and release of information requests.
Maintaining security of private health information.
Providing coverage for clinical emergencies during operating hours.
Developing and maintaining relationships with referring agencies.
Leading initiatives that support continuous improvement of the clinic.
Minimum Qualifications:
A doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA (American Psychological Association) accredited program, completion of an APA-accredited internship or closely related field and have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Must possess a current clinical license in their current state jurisdiction of practice.
Must be license eligible in Florida at time of hire, licensed by the State of Florida within 6 months of hire date, and must maintain license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Competence with and primary orientation in empirically supported assessment and psychotherapy approaches.
4+ years of related experience acquired after receipt of doctoral degree.
Previous experience with clinical supervision of trainees using empirically supported assessment and psychotherapy approaches with adult patients.
Previous experience providing and/or supervising teletherapy.
Licensed as a Psychologist in the United States.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,000 to negotiable. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), generally scheduled Monday through Friday. Two evening shifts per week (until 7:00 PM) are expected, with flexibility to adjust specific days and times based on clinic needs.
