Dynamic Integrated Security (DIS) is hiring Event Security Officers to support upcoming events in Tallahassee, Florida.
If you are a dependable security professional with an active Florida Class D Security License and are looking for event-based work with flexible scheduling, we would like to hear from you!
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Typical shifts: approximately 8 hours
Location: Tallahassee, FL - Leon School District
What You'll Do
As an Event Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and event personnel.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated security areas.
• Verify credentials and control access to restricted areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or incidents.
• Respond appropriately to incidents in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist guests and event staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Help maintain order and a secure environment throughout the event.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Requirements
Required:
• Active Florida Class D Security License
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation to and from the event location
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to pass a background screening and drug test
Preferred, but not required:
• Previous security experience
• Event security experience
• Experience working with large crowds or public events
Schedule & Opportunities
This is an event-based temporary position, with assignments scheduled according to upcoming events and operational needs.
• Most assignments are approximately 8 hours
• Event opportunities are expected throughout September-November
• Additional assignments may become available based on staffing needs
• Officers who perform well may be considered for future event assignments
