Responsibilities:
Good communicator with staff, leads and managers.
Mathematical abilities (tape measure, fractions)
Able to comprehend instructions
Able to comprehend 3 dimensional drawings
Supervise Metal Shop employees
Assign shop staff to handle the workload
Schedule coordination with Shop Lead Coordinator.
Notify Shop Lead Coordinator about any delays in orders.
Supplies- Notify Production Manager of problem with supplies, staff, machines, etc.
Maintain high quality and productivity
Supplies- Notify Glass Shop Team Lead to order stock materials and maintaining proper inventory.
Maintenance of shop machines.
Assist other areas when needed according to work load (liner area, coil line, plasma table, programing, etc.)
Receive material and process paperwork
Coordinate production schedule with needs of various departments
Maintain and clean warehouse
Enforce company safety policies
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Environment:
Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders. Walking and lifting of weights of 50 pounds or more are required in daily performance of job.
Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling and material handling.
Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting and squatting.
