Description

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for supporting all aspects of hotel operations while maintaining Fairfield Inn by Marriott Brand Standards. The Front Desk Supervisor serves as a leader for all front desk and sales operations, ensuring operational efficiency, exceptional guest satisfaction, employee accountability, and financial responsibility.

The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and capable of making timely operational decisions while maintaining professionalism and strong communication skills. This position requires availability, flexibility, and the ability to lead the property in the absence of the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly Department Head Meetings
• Resolve Guest Complaints in a timely manner
• Respond to Guest Satisfaction Surveys
• Ensure accuracy of company emails (Night Audit Reports and Arrival Reports)
• Invoice Coding
• Petty Cash Reconciliation
• Running Payroll
• Monitoring Employee Hours (Preventing Overtime)
• Monitoring hotel occupancy 30 days in advance, preventing oversells
• Tracking Service Scores
• Developing strategies to meet Overall Satisfaction, Check-In Experience, and Room Cleanliness Scores
• Qualifying, Interviewing, Hiring, Disciplining, and Terminating Employees
• Host Monthly Staff meetings
• Maintain a functioning form of contact, available 24/7
• Book a meeting room
• Capturing sales leads and booking groups

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of hotel front desk experience preferred
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
