Job Title: Healthcare Contracting Coordinator (Florida PACE Centers)
Job Summary
The Contracting Health Care Coordinator will be supporting the development and maintenance of provider contracts within the FL PACE & Broward PACE Program. This role ensures that contract documentation is accurate, providers are credentialed and loaded efficiently, and all contractual relationships align with regulatory and organizational requirements. The coordinator works cross-functionally with all department within FL PACE and Broward PACE Program to maintain a high-quality provider network.

Job Summary

Essential Job Functions
- Coordinates all clerical aspects of contracting process, including drafting, reviewing, emailing, execution and loading into database.
- Maintains contract databases and ensure all contracts are kept in an appropriate databank and are accurately entered and updated.
- Serves as a liaison between internal departments to ensure contracting providers are in alignment with sites' necessities.
- Assists in negotiating fee schedules and contract terms with providers under the guidance of the Contract Development & Vendor Relations Manager.
- Monitors provider credentials on an annual basis and ensure all licensing is kept as per State and Federal regulations.
- Ensures all contracts comply with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Supports and keeps the Provider Directory with all the contracted providers.
- Works closely with business office team to support timely and accurate provider activation.
- Responds to inquiries from providers regarding contract status, terms, and processes.
- Tracks contract renewal dates and initiate renewals in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field or combination of experience and education.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or network management preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:

Abilities Required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and PACE
- Experience with provider networks, credentialing processes, and health care regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, NCQA).
- Analytical thinking and basic understanding of reimbursement methodologies (FFS, capitation, value-based).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare provider types, managed care principles, and contract terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word); experience with contract management systems a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
