The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel has over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
JOB PURPOSE: To clean and maintain all carpets in public and associate areas, in accordance with Omni Standards.

JOB PURPOSE: To clean and maintain all carpets in public and associate areas, in accordance with Omni Standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Shampoo and spot clean all hotel carpeted areas.
- Operate and maintain carpet cleaning machinery and supplies
- Shampoo lobby and public area carpets.
- Shampoo elevator carpets, guestroom and hallway carpets
- Reporting all damages to carpeted areas.
- Responsible for rotation of oriental rugs.
- Proper documentation of scheduled cleaning cycles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, specifically weekends and holidays.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred (hotel preferred, although other
- environmental services positions will be considered).
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Good communication, time management, follow-through and customer services skills are required.
- Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situations
ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without
assistance. - Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Requires repetitive motion.

- Telephone, Floor Care machinery, push to talk radio, cart, vacuum, mop, broom duster and chemicals,
