The Field HR Administrator provides comprehensive support for human resources initiatives across assigned restaurant brands. This role is responsible for HR reporting, data analysis, operational execution, onboarding coordination, and administrative support for field teams. The position partners closely with HR centers of excellence and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of HR programs and processes.

This role delivers both complex and routine administrative services while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and alignment with organizational objectives. The position is hybrid, based at the Tampa Restaurant Support Center, with an expectation of three days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administrative Support
  • Serve as a first point of contact for general HR inquiries from field leaders and associates; ensure timely follow-up and resolution
  • Provide administrative support for HR operations, including documentation, transactions, and process coordination
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, demotions, job changes, and terminations
  • Partner with Legal and internal stakeholders on preparation and processing of employment-related documentation
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and meeting materials for field HR initiatives

Data Reporting
  • Generate, analyze, and report on key HR and operational metrics
  • Evaluate trends related to hiring, turnover, payroll, and workforce activity
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data
  • Track completion of required training and onboarding programs

Onboarding & Recruiting Coordination
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, including managers-in-training and industry hires
  • Monitor, process, and adjudicate background checks
  • Support field recruiting efforts and provide administrative support to HR Recruiters
  • Track onboarding progress and ensure completion of all required documentation and compliance activities

Payroll & Compensation Support
  • Manage payroll-related actions including transfers, internal hires, LOAs, terminations, and corrections
  • Analyze payroll-related data (e.g., missed punches, make pay, overpayments) and identify trends or opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate compensation approval processes with Compensation teams and field leadership
  • Review and validate employee referral and sign-on bonus submissions; track and manage bonuses and coordinate timely processing with Payroll.

HR Programs & Project Support
  • Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve HR processes, systems, and operational effectiveness
  • Coordinate distribution of program materials, timelines, and actions to ensure successful execution
  • Support organizational initiatives aligned with talent management, inclusion, and leadership development strategies

REQUIREMENTS

Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 years of HR experience
  • Effective interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must be knowledgeable of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Advanced computer proficiency skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and HRIS systems
  • Ability to appropriately plan and organize, administer, and prioritize, and monitor and evaluate the workflow of projects and activities
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and navigate through ambiguity to provide simple solutions
