St. Theresa Catholic School in Coral Gables, Florida has an opening for a Human Resources/ Business Manager to begin for the 2026-27 school year. The Human Resources/ Business Manager is a professional administrator who reports directly to the Principal and Pastor, and works in collaboration with the Principal, Pastor and the accountant. The manager is responsible for supporting school administration in planning, directing and coordinating the financial, facilities management and basic human resources operations of the school. The manager assists the principal with the stewardship of the physical, financial and personnel resources for the school. St Theresa Catholic HR/Business Manager performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified in Human Resources preferred.
  • Two years' related of experience.
  • Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents and staff.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and contributors' files.
  • Skilled in personnel administration; knowledge of human resources policies and practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging situations, both in person and by phone.
  • Good time management skills, including ability to manage several projects at the same time.
  • Must be dependable and reliable with the ability to multi-task and retain accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in apple software as well as MS programs and Google apps.
  • Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; Experience in a Roman Catholic environment a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
