HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER
JOB OVERVIEW:
This position provides strategic and proactive HR consulting and operational support to employees, managers, and executives of RSC functions and brands that drives business results and supports our people-focused culture. Guides and supports RSC leaders and employees through each phase of the employee lifecycle including recruitment and hiring, training and development, engagement and reward & recognition, and separation.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivers Strategic Talent Acquisition Support to RSC Functions
-Serves as a strategic partner to function leaders to hire the best talent
-Develops strong relationships with and delivers professional talent acquisition service to function clients while ensuring positive applicant and candidate experiences
-Leads and facilitates the requisition, interview, selection and hiring processes and related applicant tracking system responsibilities (e.g., resume screening, background screens, candidate communication, etc.)
-Serves as subject matter expert on talent acquisition related topics, such as compensation, benefits, relocation, etc.
Training and Talent Development
-Continues to evolve orientation and on-boarding processes; periodically leads New Hire Orientation and Quarterly Connections
-Plans, develops and implements strategies to improve business unit effectiveness and build diverse and robust talent pipelines via functional Talent Reviews, Career Pathing and related efforts
-Serves as a focal point with RSC employees and leaders on career development and counseling, leveraging learning and development for further support
Champions an Engaging Culture
-Partners with functional leaders to develop, communicate, and successfully implement key culture-building initiatives, employee engagement processes, and employee recognition programs
-Leads initiatives/projects to improve programs, processes, business unit, and/or RSC engagement
-Leads RSC employee engagement action planning and follow-through for assigned functional areas
Provides Proactive Employee Relations Consulting and Insights
-Supports employee relations needs for the RSC population
-Facilitates conflict resolution and coaches leaders as needed
-Leads and supports other HR processes
-Delivers HR operational support by assisting in developing and interpreting employee RSC policies and management practices
-Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, supporting leaders in conversations as needed
-Strategizes with RSC HR Leader and functional RSC leaders to implement key organizational processes, including the Performance Management Process, individual and RSC-wide development strategies to improve organizational capability
-Partners with Compensation and functional leaders on the annual year-end compensation process
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-A minimum of 6 years of professional HR experience as a Generalist or multiple specialist roles in the Human Resources field, and/or a combination of relevant HR and management experience with proven success coaching, leading, and developing large teams
-Solid understanding of HR practices and related employment laws
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or relevant years of experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Organization Development and/or Talent Acquisition experience
-Master's Degree in Business or Human Resources
-SHRM/HRCI certification a plus
