Position Summary
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of human resources operations This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring an efficient, compliant, and positive employee experience across a multi-state workforce.
The HR Specialist independently manages day-to-day HR operations, develops scalable processes, supports organizational growth, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
• Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and compliance documentation.
• Oversee HR processes for a workforce of 300+ employees across multiple states.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and employee documentation.
• Partner with leadership and operations teams to address workforce needs and improve HR efficiency.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding coordination.
• Develop candidate pipelines to support high-volume hiring needs.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify staffing requirements and ensure timely hiring solutions.
• Track recruitment metrics and provide reporting on hiring progress and workforce trends.

• Independently process and manage semi-monthly payroll while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
• Partner with Finance and payroll providers to resolve payroll discrepancies
• Ensure accurate HRIS updates and payroll system integrations.
Employee Relations & Compliance
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding workplace policies, employee concerns, and HR best practices.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and assist with conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, employment verification requirements, and licensing requirements.
• Maintain compliance records related to employee documentation, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
HRIS & Process Improvement
• Manage and optimize HR systems, including employee data management, reporting, and workflow improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and technology.
• Create and implement digital workflows, forms, and tracking systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop HR dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making.
Training & Employee Development
• Create onboarding materials, employee handbooks, training resources, and internal HR communications.
• Support employee development initiatives and organizational training programs.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure employees receive required documentation and resources.
Leadership & Strategic Support
• Supervise and support HR team members while prioritizing departmental goals.
• Partner with executives and department leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Analyze HR metrics, including turnover, hiring trends, and workforce needs, to recommend improvements.
• Support organizational growth through scalable HR solutions and best practices.

Pay Rate
• $45,000
