Job Description:
Facilitates and supports departmental human resources processes: Enters Electronic Personnel
Action Form (ePAF) for position description updates, reclassifications with and without pay changes,
(temporary and permanent) special pay increases (SPI), additional payments, and reassignments.
Assists with entering ePAFs for termination and Person of Interest (POI). Submits Personal Action
Requests (PAR) for postings, reclassifications, special pay increases, and reassignments. Creates and
sends out letters regarding executed actions for signatures from department heads and distribution to
employees. Creates SPI Request Forms and works with Classification & Compensation on processing
pay increases. Creates Job Correction Forms and works with Classification & Compensation on
correcting errors reflected on PeopleSoft. Is responsible for record retention of employee records;
including uploading, scanning, and processing documents timely and in accordance with proper records
management. Assists with posting positions to PageUp.
Serves as backup for new hire/transfers/promotional paperwork, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA),
Leave and UF Engaged for the (BA | CFRE) HR office..
Assists employees with completion of hiring packet, explanation and summary benefits, assistance with
locating employee insurance information and insurance cards, and self-service requests through MyUFL.
Advises employees and managers on proper university policies and procedures and regulations and state
and federal laws.
Provides administrative support to the BA | CFRE HR, Associate Director by coordinating meetings,
assisting with preparing documents, preparing and sorting files, and preparing mail.
Cross-trains for all travel duties, including requests and reimbursement, as well as PCard
reconciliations related to travel. Keeps inventory of office supplies and makes of list of items to be ordered
along with placing order and verifying receipts. Works with Facilities Services Accounting on reconciling
purchases.
Delivers and pickups mail and retirement plaques at various areas across campus and surrounding vendor
locations.
Drives state vehicle.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver License.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:
8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday; With a one-half (1/2) hour meal period
Expected Salary:
$22.00 Hourly based on experience
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures is preferred.
Ability to work in a workplace.
