What You'll Do:
- Assist technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems
- Support routine preventative maintenance, including changing filters, cleaning components, insulating ductwork, and lubricating moving parts
- Ride along with HVAC technicians or report to the office as assigned, assisting with service operations and making parts, equipment, and material deliveries to job sites as needed.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment under the supervision of experienced technicians
- Assist with testing HVAC systems and components to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards at all times
What You'll Bring:
- 1-2 years of HVAC experience or related construction/trade experience preferred
- Must possess a valid EPA Certification obtained through an accredited HVAC training program or trade school
- Commercial HVAC experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Trade school training or HVAC certification is a plus
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass required pre-employment drug screening
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up 50 to 75 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
- Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, bending, and climbing
- Physically capable of performing HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair activities
