Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property spanning 1,100 acres with multiple operational components. The resort integrates resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment demands sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities- Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide prompt and professional desk-side and remote technical support to team members across all resort departments.
  • Provide application support for resort systems, assisting users with troubleshooting, configurations, and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues, escalating to senior IT staff as appropriate.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software across the resort.

Documentation, Projects & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
  • Develop knowledge articles and user guides to enhance IT support resources and promote team member self-service.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects, contributing to on-time delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and security best practices across all supported systems.
  • Stay current on product updates for resort applications, POS systems, and relevant industry trends.

Training & Guest Support

  • Deliver training to team members on IT systems, applications, and POS platforms, ensuring proper usage and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist guests with technology-related inquiries, providing courteous and effective support in alignment with Evermore's service standards.
  • Support function rooms, special events, and conference services with technology needs as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by resort operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused service mindset.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. (preferred)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant hospitality technology experience.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and SaaS-based hospitality applications.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) platforms used in resort environments.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to operate a golf cart as the primary means of transportation across the campus-style resort.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach repeatedly.
  • Able to safely lift a maximum of 50 pounds and carry, pull, and push heavy objects and materials.
  • Work activities may occur both indoors and outdoors.
