As a CBRE Location Analytics Consultant, you will be responsible for the of maintenance and dissemination of the mapping services platform knowledge base.
This job is part of the Location Analytics function. They are responsible for developing and maintaining geographical information systems databases, applications, and tools.
What You'll Do:
- Update and maintain Mapping Center Internet resources. This includes websites for proprietary products and ongoing updates of vendor application data feeds.
- Organize, announce, and maintain a directory of mapping software tools.
- Coordinate with management to oversee national mapping projects and perform quality control.
- Assist in evaluating new data sources, software products, and methodologies.
- Point of contact for internal clients to find areas where the department can aid. Collect feedback from internal clients on the level of service and quality of products provided.
- Develop effective procedures and processes to enhance teamwork.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
