Job Description:
Are you a skilled veterinary technician who loves both learning and sharing your knowledge and is ready to join a busy team seeing cats, dogs, exotics, and large animals with neurologic issues? We are looking for our next team member in Neurology! Our service sees a wide variety of cases and nurses in this role assist with examinations, diagnostic procedures, client communication, and specialized nursing care. Our patients receive advanced imaging such as MRI and CT as well as electrodiagnostics. We also provide clinical teaching to veterinary students in the hospital as well as interacting with a wide array of doctors including board certified neurologists, residents, and interns.
Applicants should thrive in a fast paced, patient-focused environment and also enjoy providing excellent customer service to a wide variety of clients, coworkers, and referring practices. The ideal candidate has excellent basic nursing skills and is excited to learn about the neurology specialty.
Expected Salary:
Non-credentialed: $18-22 Credentialed: $20-25

Credentialed veterinary technician

This is a CARE position offering limited benefits, including health insurance and paid time off. When appropriate certifications are achieved, promotional opportunities to a level II title may be available. This position will also become eligible for transition into a TEAMS (staff) salary plan.
