HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
- Oversees daily operations and functionality.
- Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
- Supervises billing data entry.
- Manages budget responsibilities.
- Supervises staff members.
- Ensures full The Joint Commission (TJC) standards compliance across all areas and colleague files.
- Performs miscellaneous duties.
Reports To:
- Family Med Practice Admin (job code (JC): 004401) or Physician Director/Family Med (JC: 016801)
Supervises:
- Office Coordinator/FM [Family Medicine] (JC: 675106), Office Supervisor (JC:662001), Administrative Assistant (JC: 221501), Medical Records Specialist
(JC: 067806), and Referral Coordinator (JC: 674406)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Human Resources (HR) may accept relevant, job-related, post-secondary education
(i.e., high school diploma or equivalent) work experience in lieu of the required degree on a 1-year: 1-year basis. NOTE: Experience accepted in lieu
of the required degree will not be applied to the minimum experience requirement below (i.e., the same experience will not be counted twice).
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of relevant supervisory experience in a medical environment
Preferred Experience:
- Four (4) or more years of relevant, job-related, work experience in a medical practice, physician offices, customer service, billing,
clerical work, and/or keyboarding environment. Computer literate
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- None
