Work with LAKEWATCH staff at the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences (SFFGS) to support statewide citizen science water quality monitoring efforts. Responsibilities include:
Valid Florida Driver's License. Able to lift 50 lbs. Able to work in person on UF's Millhopper campus at 7922 NW 71st St., Gainesville, FL 32653.
Expected Salary:
$14.00-$16.00 an hour.

Job Description:
Work with LAKEWATCH staff at the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences (SFFGS) to support statewide citizen science water quality monitoring efforts. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare sample materials (bottle packs, filter packs, and data sheets) for distribution
- Drive to collection centers across Florida to pick up and transport water samples
- Assemble, maintain, and repair volunteer sampling kits and equipment
- Maintain vehicles and equipment used in field operations
- Organize and track samples, data sheets, and supplies
- Assist with occasional field sampling, data entry, and program support tasks
- Use a purchasing card and complete required paperwork to procure supplies as directed
- Other duties as assigned
