Position Overview
The Part-Time Student Life Clerk provides support to Student Life and other areas of Student Services as needed.
What you will be doing
- Creates service agreements/contracts for Student Life events
- Creates work orders for media services and campus service to support student activities
- Issues student IDs and student decals
- Creates flyers/advertising for Student Life events
- Performs general office work, including filing, answering phones, providing front-end customer service to walk-in students and staff
- Provides staffing for student life events
- Answers phones, greets and assists students
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and six (6) months of clerical experience
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate self-motivational and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments
- Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
