The purpose of this position is to provide technical and analytical work in the design, programming, and implementation of application based systems and projects. This is accomplished by receiving tasks from the IT Manager; and completing assigned duties; obtaining advice. Other duties include assisting and supporting various departments, supervisors, and co-workers.

Essential Functions

  1. Administrates various applications by maintaining database integrity; testing programs or databases; approving and planning the installation of new patches and modules; training users; and inputting codes to monitor database performance.
  2. Creates reports by obtaining aggregated data and parameters; working with data regions and tables; reporting parameters; filtering and retrieving data; creating advanced; and comparing tables.
  3. Works with Report tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) utilizing Microsoft SQL Server; creating spreadsheet applications; removing incorrect data from spreadsheets; and retracting data from database. Strong understanding, writing, maintaining SQL query skills required. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and Database backup/restore knowledge is a plus. Create stored procedures for data tuning with SQL.
  4. Maintaining SharePoint by creating applications; documenting systems scopes, current view, proposed view, application, and general requirements. PowerShell knowledge is a plus.
  5. Write, analyze and review program, using workflow charts diagrams.
  6. Additional duties as required.
  7. Working knowledge of .Net,C#, and Visual Basic.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  2. Minimum of two years relevant work experience.
  3. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Environmental factors include indoor, flat surface, noise, sitting with occasionally walking and standing.
