Plan menus and food needs. Standardize recipes and food specifications. Prepare, set up, and serve food. Ensure food program compliance with the requirements of federal, state, and local agencies and internal standards. Prepare federal, state, and local reports on food service activities. Receive cash payments: balance and close cash drawers or registers. Process incoming goods (including capital equipment) from vendors. May include maintaining a warehouse or stockroom. Compile and compute payroll for salaried staff, temporary and hourly workers, and teachers. Control, review, verify, observe, and manage the work of people reporting directly to you. Monitor and evaluate employee performance. Conduct career counseling. Maintain and control records. Includes logs, cost records, personnel records, rosters, and general records.
The successful candidate will be required to lift, pull, and push at least 5 lbs. Reach above the head, carry objects, and maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
