Position Summary
This GPS Security role supports compliant personnel security processing for classified, CUI/Public Trust, and agency-sensitive programs under NISPOM, government agency, and firm requirements. The position manages timely clearance, Special/SCI access, and Public Trust suitability actions that help maintain regulatory compliance and enable secure government client delivery. Success requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused team member who can apply security requirements accurately while supporting efficient shared services operations.

What You'll Do:
- Help Deloitte navigate security requirements for Deloitte's Civil Government Sector clients, including Energy Sector Federal clients, by providing personnel security processing, reviewing contract documents, and responding to questions around government client security procedures.
- Initiate, prepare, and submit required personnel security applications (initials, upgrades, and periodic reinvestigations) for access to National Security Information and Positions of Trust programs to include eApp, SF86, SF86C and other agency required paperwork
- Support GPS Security personnel security mission to include daily database entries, including but not limited to status checks in government databases; monitoring and queries associated with ensuring our cleared personnel databases are in synch with current employee status; notifications to newly cleared personnel; maintaining updated personnel security and suitability records, outgoing clearance certifications for classified visits; maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within internal database
- Acts as the quality control specialist for personnel security paperwork, ensuring all packages are accurately completed and ensuring any required/associated documentation is included. Initiate, prepare and submit required personnel security applications (initial and periodic reinvestigations)
- Develop relationships and conduct ongoing follow-up, briefings and communications with engagement teams and government points of contact
- Prepare and complete visit authorization letters (VAL) for classified visit requests
- Provide support and input with Request for Proposal (RFP) response
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must hold an active US Secret Security clearance
- 1+ years of federal government personnel security
- Knowledge of government personnel security databases
- Strong computer skills - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Able to work both independently and in close collaboration/interaction with other team members
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $54,500 to $90,800.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
