Senior Marketing Automation Engineer – Oracle Eloqua & CRM Integration

The Senior Marketing Automation Engineer – Oracle Eloqua & CRM Integration (Redwood) serves as the technical guide for Oracle Eloqua and its integration with Oracle CRM (Redwood) and other enterprise systems. This role owns Eloqua architecture, data models, integrations, and advanced configuration to ensure a robust, scalable, and well-governed marketing automation stack.

You will partner closely with Marketing Operations, CRM, IT, integration, data, security, and compliance teams to design, implement, and maintain the technical capabilities that power campaigns, customer journeys, data quality, and platform reliability.

What the day will look like

Platform architecture, integration, and data ownership

  • Lead the technical architecture of Oracle Eloqua, including instance configuration, environments, integration patterns, data structures, shared assets, naming conventions, and scalable configuration standards.
  • Design and maintain Eloqua data models across contacts, accounts, custom objects, shared lists, shared filters, and related structures to support current and future business needs.
  • Lead the design and implementation of integrations between Eloqua and Oracle CRM (Redwood), including field mapping, sync rules, error handling, batch and near real-time synchronization patterns, and monitoring strategies.
  • Collaborate with integration and IT teams to architect and maintain data flows using APIs, ETL, iPaaS platforms, or other enterprise integration capabilities.

Governance, data quality, and advanced Eloqua configuration

  • Define and implement data quality rules for records entering Eloqua, including standardization, validation, duplication, enrichment, and alignment with CRM and enterprise data models.
  • Configure and maintain consent, subscription management, and preference center capabilities, ensuring accurate reflection across Eloqua and CRM.
  • Build and maintain technical frameworks in Eloqua, including global data processing programs, normalization programs, lead scoring implementation, AppCloud apps, extensions, and reusable technical building blocks.
  • Configure complex Program Canvas or Program Builder flows for data processing, routing, enrichment, and platform-level automation, while enabling non-technical users to implement campaigns within a governed framework.

Platform evolution, documentation, and enablement

  • Lead or support Eloqua and CRM migration, re-implementation, upgrade, and platform enhancement efforts, including data assessment, mapping, transformation, cutover planning, validation, reconciliation, regression testing, and UAT.
  • Monitor and fix integration failures, CRM sync issues, logs, and data anomalies; design alerting and monitoring approaches to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, data dictionaries, mapping documents, and configuration plans covering integrations, data flows, processing programs, and system behavior.
  • Serve as a main technical point of contact for Eloqua-related questions from Marketing Operations, CRM administrators, and integration or engineering teams.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum 3+years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle Eloqua, including Program Canvas or Program Builder for data workflows, custom objects, complex data relationships, integration configuration, CRM integration apps, APIs, and advanced platform configuration is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Eloqua-to-CRM integrations, ideally with Oracle CRM or Redwood, including data mapping, synchronization, fix, monitoring, and governance.
  • Good understanding of data modeling, data quality management, deduplication, normalization, consent, preference management, and marketing automation data governance.
  • Experience using APIs, ETL, iPaaS, or related integration tools to connect marketing automation platforms with CRM and enterprise systems.
  • Ability to create clear technical documentation, translate business and marketing requirements into technical specifications, and guide stakeholders on data flow, field usage, and system behavior.

Preferred experience

  • Oracle Eloqua and Oracle CRM or Redwood technical certifications.
  • Experience with additional martech and data platforms, such as CDPs, data warehouses, event platforms, or identity resolution capabilities.
  • Background in software engineering, marketing systems engineering, data engineering, or related technical disciplines.
  • Experience supporting a large, global B2B organization with complex account hierarchies, stakeholder groups, and governance models.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is [$67000 to $105000] annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
