Position Overview
The Staff Associate Senior, provides administrative support to the Director. The position also assists in planning, evaluating, preparing documents and reports; as well as, maintaining daily operations and communications with the College and community.

Position Overview
The Staff Associate Senior, provides administrative support to the Director. The position also assists in planning, evaluating, preparing documents and reports; as well as, maintaining daily operations and communications with the College and community.
What you will be doing
- Prepares and maintains the Department's online finance and payroll systems
- Serves as the liaison to Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Payroll, and other District departments
- Serves as liaison with external organizations and to the Campus
- Reviews facilities usage and makes recommendation to the Division of Administrative Services
- Provides Campus personnel with accurate information and guidance related to all aspects of the Department/Division
- Assists the Department with budget modifications and prepares the department budget
- Participates in the implementation of policies and procedures, new programs and related projects in the assigned area
- Prepares correspondence for administrative decisions
- Compiles data and prepares operational and statistical reports for presentation or administrative decisions
- Promotes and maintains effective employee relations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of responsible related experience including some supervisory experience; or an Associate's degree and eight (8) years of related experience with some supervisory experience
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals, and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Knowledge of the principles of office management and practices
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Ability to plan, assign and supervise work of subordinates
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other related computer programs
- Possess strong organizational skill and ability to follow-up on assignments with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
