Sterile Proc Tech - Non-certified or Certified

Sterile Processing Tech - Noncert Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation processed through the department following established department procedures.
• Acts as preceptor, mentor and resource in support of department team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred - Certified Sterile Processing Tech
• Preferred - Hospital Experience

Other information:
Must become certified within 24 months of hire.

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Shift: Shift 2

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every 3rd

On Call: Yes
