Overview
ValCorp is seeking a highly qualified Terminal Superintendent to lead all operations, maintenance, quality, environmental, and safety functions at DFSP Tampa. This position is responsible for 24/7 terminal operations and is the primary on-site authority for contract execution.

All Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must complete a favorable background investigation and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
ValCorp is seeking a highly qualified Terminal Superintendent to lead all operations, maintenance, quality, environmental, and safety functions at DFSP Tampa. This position is responsible for 24/7 terminal operations and is the primary on-site authority for contract execution.
Responsibilities
- Direct all terminal operations including pipeline receipts, tank farm operations, truck loading, and product shipments.
- Oversee maintenance of tanks, pumps, filters, separators, generators, and pipeline systems.
- Ensure compliance with all PWS requirements, DLA Energy policies, and federal/state regulations.
- Lead product quality surveillance, sampling, testing, and documentation.
- Manage environmental compliance programs (SPCC, NPDES, stormwater, hazardous waste).
- Supervise and mentor operators, mechanics, guards, and administrative staff.
- Serve as primary interface with COR, QAR, and government inspectors.
- Maintain operational readiness, safety, and emergency response capability.
Minimum Qualifications (Per PWS C-1.11.2)
- Six (6) years specialized experience in fuel terminal operations, including:
- Pipeline, tank truck, and barge/tanker receipts
- Bulk petroleum storage operations
- Terminal maintenance and repair
- Three (3) years supervisory experience, with:
- Two (2) years specialized supervisory experience in fuel terminal operations
- Strong knowledge of DoD fuels, quality surveillance, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to lead a 24/7 operational workforce.
