Responsibilities:
- Enforce company safety policies
- Issue, receive, and store hand tools and equipment
- Maintain inventory of all tools and order new equipment as needed
- Keep records of tools issued to employees
- Report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment
- Use computer to enter and track tool transactions
- Clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on tools or equipment
- Coordinate with field employees to ensure timely delivery of tools
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain high quality and productivity standards
- Assist other departments as needed based on workload
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Florida driver's license
- In-depth knowledge of duct fabrication and installation systems
- Understanding of HVAC systems and related supporting utilities
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong leadership and employee management skills
Work Environment:
- Physical tasks include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders
- Daily walking and lifting of 50 pounds or more
- Use of upper extremities for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling materials
- Use of torso and lower extremities for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting
