Work from Home Dental Eligibility Specialist-Oakland CA
RemX Staffing is seeking Dental Eligibility Specialists for a reputable client located in Oakland CA.
Must reside in or near Oakland CA
Contract to Hire opportunity- Remote but once full-time Onsite presence is required one week once a month
This role requires travel to Oakland approximately once per month for up to one week at a time.
Please note that no per diem, travel reimbursement, or travel pay will be provided.
Pay: $23.48
Schedule: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
The Dental Eligibility Specialist is responsible for obtaining, interpreting, and accurately documenting comprehensive dental insurance eligibility and benefit information within Epic. This job uses payer portals, electronic eligibility resources, and direct telephone contact with insurance carriers to obtain complete breakdowns of benefits that support accurate treatment planning, patient financial estimates, front-office discussions, and accurate billing and claims processing.

Additional Experience and Education
- Three or more years of dental insurance eligibility, dental benefits verification, dental billing, dental revenue cycle, or dental practice experience required.
- Experience working with dental insurance plans
- Experience contacting dental insurance carriers by telephone
- Experience interpreting dental insurance benefits,
- Experience working with CDT procedure codes
- Experience with Epic dental eligibility, coverage, or benefit workflows preferred.
