Mechanic Industrial I: $19.91 - $25.38
Mechanic Industrial II: $21.10 - $26.90
Mechanic Industrial III: $22.62 - $28.845
This position is located at Water Conserv II at 5100 L.B. McLeod Road, Orlando, FL 32811.
Mechanical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wastewater treatment equipment and machinery.
Must have the ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform the required repairs in a timely manner.
Completes required Preventive Maintenance on facility equipment per the manufacturers recommendations.
Maintains spare parts inventory and orders needed parts and materials.
Position requires computer skills to review and complete work orders in the Reclaimed Departments Maintenance Management System.
Also research needed parts and supplies via the internet and write up requisition orders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Mechanic Industrial I:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and one (1) year of industrial mechanical experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Must own a standard set of mechanic tools (list attached). Must have a home phone or cell phone. Annual respirator physical required; no facial hair allowed between the face and sealing surface of the respirator face piece.
Mechanic Industrial II:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and three (3) years of industrial mechanical experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Must pass an annual respirator physical; no facial hair allowed between the face and the sealing surface of the respirator face piece. Must own a standard set of mechanic tools (list attached) and a cell/home phone.
Mechanic Industrial III:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and four (4) years of industrial mechanical experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Florida Water & Pollution Control Operators Association (FW&PCOA) Level 3 Wastewater Collection Technician Certificate required. Must pass an annual respirator physical; no facial hair allowed between the face and the sealing surface of the respirator face piece. Must own a standard set of mechanic tools (list attached) and a cell/home phone.
